In March 2023, Octagon presented its latest developments and solutions at PLÁSTICO BRASIL 2023. The event took place at the São Paulo Expo pavilion from March 27th to March 31st.
About Plástico Brasil
The PLÁSTICO BRASIL fair is the largest and most comprehensive event in the sector in Latin America. According to the event organizers, participation exceeded expectations, with 52,000 visitors attending the 800 exhibitors at the fair. The event was organized by ABIMAQ and ABIQUIM, with Informa Markets Brazil as the organizer.
This was the third edition of the event, which showcased the latest technological advances and key global trends in the segments that make up the plastic production chain, including machinery, accessories, and raw materials, as well as molds, products, and services. The next edition of the fair is planned for March 24th to March 28th, 2025, also at the São Paulo Expo.
Octagon’s presence
Octagon had a strong presence at the fair with an elegant 96 m² stand right at the entrance corridor. The fair was a great success and exceeded our expectations.
In addition to closing new business deals and the opportunity to generate new partnerships, we had the joy of meeting clients and partners from our 35 years of history.

SmartLip One – Automatic Air Ring
Visitors were able to personally meet our new high-production air ring, the SmartLip ONE, which was presented for the first time in Germany during the K-Trade Fair. In addition to its new design, with only one air inlet and integrated insulation, its great differential is a safer production process, automatic correction of the thickness profile during production, and easy adaptation with other Octagon control systems.
The benefits of this system range from improving the mechanical properties of the film and the shrinkage values to increasing extruder production and greater energy efficiency due to the low-pressure drop and low-power electronics design.
