It is with profound sadness that we bid farewell to Dr. Veit Holger Karl, the founder and long-time managing director of our company. Dr. Karl passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 74.

In 1987, together with his wife Katharina, he laid the foundation for our company, originally known as Octagon Process Technology GmbH. Under his guidance and vision, the company evolved into Octagon Blown Film Control GmbH in 2019, and it continues to thrive today due to his innovative ideas and strategic decisions.

Prof. Dr. Veit-Holger Karl firmly believed that the success of Octagon was attributed to its highly motivated, well-trained, and experienced team of employees, who maintained close and collaborative relationships with our valued customers.

We will forever appreciate Dr. Karl’s memory and express our immense gratitude for his invaluable contributions to our company.
